For some people, visiting the dentist is not an event they look forward to. Successful dental care requires an investment from the patient beyond the work the dentist does; without this engagement, improvements to the patient’s at-home care may not occur. In order to make dentistry more enjoyable, and thereby more engaging, our staff does everything we can to help you feel welcome and valued at our practice.
The front desk staff greets you the moment you walk through our doors with a smile and tends to your needs during your brief wait, including helping you fill out the necessary paperwork. You will then meet with our hygienist for an initial exam, including an oral cancer screening and gum evaluation. She will then perform a careful and thorough cleaning. You next meet with Dr. Hurst directly for your dental examination; he uses this time to truly get to know you, your medical history and your particular needs, all while remaining open to any questions.
