The blue material is cement on the bracket, but these are small composite fillings I placed on my Grandson's 1st molars the other day.  The laser detector gave a high reading on this, so I followed the grooves down until there was not longer a reading.  If he doesn't get decay between his teeth, these fillings should last 20 years.  EH

Gold work done many years ago and will probably last the rest of the persons life. 35 years more I would estimate

These crowns have been in use now for approximately 20 years.  I have seen some of these go over 50 years.  Gold is still the best but we don't use it towards the front of the mouth because of the obvious esthetic concerns.

It is reaching the end of the year quickly!  Most insurance policies renew the beginning of the year.  To best take advantage of you dental insurance, use all your remaining benefits before the end of the year.  Call to schedule ahead of time -- the days fill up quick!
